Kindergarten Volunteer in Palawan, Philippines
During this program, you will partake in the day-to-day operations of a childcare facility. Not only will this give you an insight into authentic Filipino life, but you will also get engaged into the daily operations of the kindergarten.
The kindergarten is located in the Tigman area of Palawan and the children who attend are between the ages of 3 and 5. Your primary task will be to communicate with the children using English and teaching them the language in a fun way. Besides teaching, you will also support the local staff with the caretaking of the children. This task can range in activities, from organizing classes, playing games and guiding activities to feeding, cutting nails, combing hair and so on. The children are always interested in learning more about foreign lands and you are encouraged to bring pictures from your country, friends, family, etc or objects that highlight your culture in order to promote intercultu

The province of Palawan is located in the Mimaropa region and is the largest province in the country, abundant with wildlife sanctuaries, marine reserves and world heritage sites. Environmental Conservation Volunteer in Palawan, Philippines
Our hope through this project is to conserve mangrove plantations and reverse the trend of deteriorating mangrove sites, which has seen a rapid decrease during recent years.
This can realistically only be achieved through the education of younger generations, combined with the continual physical work of planting new mangroves.
That’s why we’ll be asking you to serve as a fortifier of our natural coastal barrier, which is slowing storm surges, reducing beach erosion, cleaning the beaches. We also need your help with encouraging environmental conservation through training sessions with children.

Maasai Tribe communities are traditionally patriarchal. This program provides insight into the unique culture of the Maasai Tribe and the impact that is felt when the education of girls is not prioritized. The primary focus is on the development of basic skills and financial literacy of the local women, who are learning how they can earn funds to support themselves and educate their children.
The Maasai community has its own distinct culture, which differs from other societies in Tanzania. They have their own recognizable manner of dress, decorations and lifestyle. The majority of Maasai women throughout the many Maasai communities live a life of poverty and cultural oppression. Men are the heads of the households and the village. They have control of almost every aspect of life and hold almost all the leadership roles.
Most Maasai women devote their time to milking cows, taking care of calves, and domestic work. There are currently very few, if any, opportunities for women related to education and community engagement, which would assist them in having more options for sustainab
In this project, you will get your hands dirty with construction projects. Our main focus when constructing is working at the slum and migratory children schools allocated to the poor. Despite the previous efforts, the work here is far from done and we continue to renovate pathways, toilets, walls, etc.
Moreover, those with artistic talents can help decorate the walls by creating images and sketches of their home countries and cultures. We have the feeling that this will be a nice way of reflecting the hard and good work that has been done by our participants over the past years.
Other construction efforts might be carried out in the local village (renovating and building houses and sanitation facilities) or working on construction projects at the local hospitals – this very much depends on the needs of any particular time and so our participants will be using their construction skills where they are most needed!

Teaching English Volunteer Program in Ubud town of Bali, Indonesia
With Bali's rapidly expanding tourism industry, the demand for local English speakers has never been greater. Children may have the opportunity to learn English at school, however this is usually taught by a local Balinese teacher and thus the children never really get to practice their conversational skills or hear native English speakers.

Bali is well known for its astonishing beauty and greenery. Unfortunately, due to rapid development and the rise in tourism, the local surroundings of Bali have experienced many negative consequences.
Environment Education Volunteer Program in Ubud town of Bali, Indonesia
Plastic water bottles and plastic food wrappers are of great concern and you will often see people simply throwing these on the ground, as food in Bali were traditionally wrapped in biodegradable banana leaves. The relationship between humans and the environment is an important part of the Balinese culture and the aim of this project is to instill environmental education in the children at a young age, imparting your message in a fun and dynamic manner. The emphasis is on hands on techniques, getting the children out and about in nature and working together. Participants spend two hours each morning planning their campaign and go to schools in Ubud area in the afternoon.
Healthcare Education Program Volunteer in Ubud town of Bali, Indonesia
Our healthcare education initiative is in its infancy and requires the skills of both established medical and healthcare professionals and those who are interested in teaching basic first-aid and personal hygiene. This need for having project participants on either end of the medical spectrum arises due to the great extremes in hygiene and health practices.
Healthcare Education Program Volunteer in Ubud town of Bali, Indonesia
Apart from needing qualified professionals in order to conduct health camps and dental checkups, we also need participants who can educate people in the areas of basic first-aid and personal hygiene such as washing hands, brushing teeth and general cleanliness. This works towards the prevention of many avoidable health problems and easily communicable diseases.
If you are interested in education and simple hygiene techniques, you are welcome to join the newly established Healthcare Education project. Medical professionals who can offer guidance on the project’s development would be immensely valuable, however, it is not imperative that participants have a medical background to join. As a par
