Making International Education Affordable

World Endeavors is committed to providing international programs that are not only culturally immersive and life-changing, but also affordable. To make more learning abroad opportunities accessible to more people, we work hard to keep fees low for all of our programs. In addition to working with students to secure financial aid for our programs, World Endeavors offers several scholarships to provide additional support to our participants. Scholarships are available for study abroad, international internship programs, and volunteer abroad programs.

World Endeavors Scholarships

World Endeavors offers a variety of scholarships to participants in our programs around the world.  Applicants may not combine scholarships; only one scholarship may be applied for each program.

WORLD ENDEAVORS AFFILIATE  UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Students attending World Endeavors affiliate universities may be eligible for a World Endeavors Affiliate University Scholarship. Affiliate university scholarship applications must be received by World Endeavors within 10 business days of program application.  Contact World Endeavors or your study abroad advisor at your home institution to find out if you are eligible.

WORLD ENDEAVORS TRAVEL CORRESPONDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship is available to applicants interested in participating in any World Endeavors program of at least 3 weeks in duration. As a travel correspondent, a participant will submit video blogs, blog entries, photo essays, or other media documenting their experiences abroad.

• Amount – $100 – 250
• Eligibility –open to all applicants 18 years of age or older. Individual must be applying for a program of at least 3 weeks in duration.
• Requirements – Applicant must submit a 250 – 500 word essay (in addition to a complete program application) outlining how they hope to share their enthusiasm for international experiences through their role as a travel correspondent.   Writing samples or published work will be accepted as supporting documents but are not required.  Scholarship essays can be emailed directly to World Endeavors with subject line “Travel Correspondent Scholarship Application.”
• Disbursement – Applicant will be notified of scholarship decision within 10 business days of application. Scholarship will be deducted from the final program payment.
• Deadlines – Scholarship application must be received by World Endeavors within 10 business days of program application.

WORLD ENDEAVORS Travel Correspondent Scholarship Application

WORLD ENDEAVORS STUDENT LEADER SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship is available to student leaders of a college or university organization or social group who are interested in sharing their study, intern, or volunteer experiences with their home campus organizations.

• Amount – $100 – 250
• Eligibility – Applicant must be a leader of a campus organization or social group.
• Requirements – Applicant must submit a 250- 500 word essay (in addition to application essay) that talks the benefits of learning experiences abroad, as well as ideas for promoting travel abroad with students. Writing samples or published work will be accepted as supporting documents but are not required. Scholarship essays can be emailed directly to World Endeavors with subject line “Student Leader Scholarship Application.”
• Disbursement – Applicant will be notified of scholarship decision within 10 business days of application. Scholarship will be deducted from the final program payment.
• Deadlines – Scholarship application must be received by World Endeavors within 10 business days of program application.

WORLD ENDEAVORS Student Leader Scholarship Application

FILIPINO-AMERICAN STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIP

World Endeavors is proud to offer scholarships to Filipino-American students applying for a semester study abroad program at the University of the Philippines – Diliman.

• Amount – up to $1,500
• Eligibility – Applicant must have Filipino heritage, which they must be able to substantiate through family records or parental passports.
• Requirements – Applicants must enroll in World Endeavors’ Study in the Philippines program (at University of the Philippines – Diliman) for at least one academic semester. Applicants must be current students enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States.
• Disbursement – Applicant will be notified of scholarship decision within 10 business days of application. Scholarship will be deducted from the final program payment.
• Deadlines – Scholarship application must be received by World Endeavors within 10 business days of program application.

World Endeavors Discounts

WORLD ENDEAVORS EARLY APPLICANT DISCOUNT

Applicants whose applications are received by World Endeavors 6 months or more before their program start date will receive a $50 Early Applicant Discount. This amount will be deducted from the final program payment. Applicants must submit a complete application and application fee to qualify.

WORLD ENDEAVORS TRAVEL WITH A FRIEND DISCOUNT

Applicants participating in a World Endeavors program with one or more friends will each receive a $300 discount for study abroad programs, $150 for internship programs, and $75 for volunteer programs when traveling together. Applicants must make mention of friends’ name and the discount will be deducted from each applicant’s final program fee.

WORLD ENDEAVORS ALUMNI DISCOUNT

If you have participated in a World Endeavors study, internship, or volunteer program in the past, you will receive a $150 discount on a second program abroad. The discount will be deducted from the final program payment.

REFFERAL BONUS

Have you been on a World Endeavors program before? If you refer a friend or family member who then participates in one of our programs, you are eligible to receive a $50 referral bonus. Just ask your friend to mention your name as the way they heard about World Endeavors.
