Performing Arts Internships

During a performing arts internship, you will be assigned to work for a local performing arts organization, where you’ll learn the ins and outs of the field and its operations within a foreign country and culture.

Yes! You are not required to have prior background or experience in the arts to do a performing arts internship with World Endeavors. If you have prior experience, it will only help you come to the table with more to share, but it is not a necessity to apply.

The performing arts industry is composed of organizations and professionals who create, produce, and perform theatrical works, such as plays, operas, dances, films, and musicals. It also includes organizations and professionals who create, produce, and perform works of art in various other genres, such as comedy, circuses, and variety arts. Performing arts also includes behind the scenes activities such as technical and design elements of production as well as management, marketing, and advertising.

Performing arts offer a wide range of benefits to participants and audience members, both on a physical and mental level.
