Making International Education Affordable

World Endeavors is committed to providing international programs that are not only culturally-immersive and life-changing, but also affordable. To make more learning abroad opportunities accessible to more people, we work hard to keep fees low for all of our programs. In addition to working with students to secure financial aid for our programs, World Endeavors offers several scholarships to provide additional support to our participants. Scholarships are available for participants of our intern abroad programs of at least 8 weeks in duration, and our study abroad programs.

World Endeavors Scholarships

World Endeavors offers a variety of scholarships to participants of our programs around the world. Applicants may not combine scholarships; only one scholarship may be applied for each program.

Applications for the Travel Correspondent and Student Leader scholarships are accepted for intern abroad programs lasting a minimum of 8 weeks or study abroad programs. In the event that the applicant shortens his or her program duration to less than this minimum requirement, the scholarship will no longer be awarded. If the program duration is shortened and continues to meet the requirement, we reserve the right to adjust the award amount accordingly.

WORLD ENDEAVORS AFFILIATE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

Students and alumni from affiliate universities of World Endeavors will automatically have the World Endeavors Affiliate University Scholarship applied to their intern abroad program of at least 8 weeks or their study abroad program. Contact World Endeavors or your study abroad advisor at your home institution to find out if you are eligible.

WORLD ENDEAVORS TRAVEL CORRESPONDENT SCHOLARSHIP

As a Travel Correspondent, a participant will submit video blogs, written blog entries, photo essays, or other media documenting their experiences abroad.

Amount: Up to $250
Eligibility: Applicant must be participating in an internship abroad of at least 8 weeks in duration, or a study abroad program.
Requirements: Applicants must submit short answer responses to several questions depending on the type of media they plan to submit during their time abroad (written blogs, photos, or videos). Writing samples or previous work are required for submission.
Applications, essays, and supporting documents can be emailed directly to World Endeavors with the subject line, “Travel Correspondent Scholarship Application.”
Disbursement: Scholarship will be deducted from the final program payment.
Deadline: Scholarship application must be received by World Endeavors within 10 business days of submitting a program application.
Please indicate the type of media you wish to submit during your time abroad.

APPLY FOR TRAVEL CORRESPONDENT SCHOLARSHIP

WORLD ENDEAVORS STUDENT LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is available to student leaders of a college or university organization or social group who are interested in sharing their study abroad or intern experiences with their home campus organizations. Program must meet the minimum duration requirement.

Amount: Up to $250
Eligibility: Applicant must be a leader of a campus organization or social group participating in an intern abroad program of at least 8 weeks in duration or a study abroad program.
Requirements: Applicant must submit a 250- 500 word essay that highlights the benefits of learning experiences abroad as well as ideas for promoting travel abroad with students. Writing samples or published work are acceptable as supporting documents, but are not required.
Scholarship essays can be emailed directly to World Endeavors with the subject line, “Student Leader Scholarship Application.”
Disbursement: Scholarship will be deducted from the final program payment.
Deadline: Scholarship application must be received by World Endeavors within 10 business days of submitting a program application.

APPLY FOR STUDENT LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

WORLD ENDEAVORS DISCOUNTS

World Endeavors offers a variety of discounts to participants of our study abroad or internship programs around the world. Applicants may not combine discounts (including promotions); only one discount or promotion may be applied for each study abroad or intern abroad program of at least 8 weeks in duration. Applicants must enter the offer code on their application at time of submission for the discount to be valid.

WORLD ENDEAVORS EARLY APPLICANT DISCOUNT

Applications for study abroad or intern abroad programs of at least 8 weeks in duration received by World Endeavors 6 months or more prior to the applicant’s program start date are eligible to receive a $50 Early Applicant Discount. This amount will be deducted from the final program payment. Applicants must submit a completed application and application fee with the following offer code to qualify: WEEARLYAPP

WORLD ENDEAVORS TRAVEL WITH A FRIEND DISCOUNT

Applicants participating in a World Endeavors study abroad program or internship abroad of at least 8 weeks in duration with one or more friends are eligible to each receive a $100 discount when traveling together. Applicants must mention friends’ name(s), as well as complete the Travel with a Friend Agreement and the discount will be deducted from each applicant’s final program fee. Applicants must submit a completed application and application fee with the following offer code to qualify: WEFRIEND

WORLD ENDEAVORS ALUMNI DISCOUNT

If you have participated in a World Endeavors program in the past, you are eligible to receive a $150 discount on a study abroad or internship abroad program of at least 8 weeks in duration. The discount will be deducted from the final program payment. Applicants must submit a completed application and application fee with the following offer code to qualify: WEALUM

REFERRAL BONUS

Have you been on a World Endeavors program before? If you refer a friend or family member who then participates in one of our programs, you are eligible to receive a $50 referral bonus. Just ask your friend to mention your name as the way they heard about World Endeavors!
