The International Cohort Internship Program offers flexibility to accommodate students and recent graduates with different schedules. We run multiple cohorts throughout the year in 4, 8, 10 or 12 week durations, giving you the option to choose a time that best fits your availability.

4 Week Program: starting at $4,980
8 Week Program: starting at $5,780

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

  1. Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of $95 is due when you submit your application to the World Endeavors Select Internship Cohort Program.
  2. Program Deposit: Upon acceptance into the program, a deposit of $500 is required to enroll and secure your place in the cohort.
  3. Remaining Balance: The remaining program fee is split into equal monthly payments, with the final balance due 8 weeks before the start of your cohort.

We offer a limited number of scholarships for eligible applicants, as well as for students from our Affiliate University partners.

In terms of Financial Aid, typically you would need to be earning credit for your internship in order to be eligible to utilize any financial aid. We have a school of record where you can earn transfer credit, or you may be able to work with your home institution for them to award credit for your program. Who is eligible to apply for the program?

The program is open to students and recent graduates (within 2 years of graduation) from around the world. Applicants should have an interest in other cultures and a strong academic background.

Do I need to speak another language to participate?

No, another language is not required. We welcome applicants from diverse linguistic backgrounds, and support will be provided to help you communicate effectively during your internship. However, basic language skills are encouraged for everyday life and better understanding of the culture, so we do include language classes in many of our internship cohorts.

How long is the program?

Durations vary, but most cohorts are either 4 weeks, or they have options for 8, 10 or 12 weeks in duration with start dates in Spring, Summer and Fall.

What companies offer internships through the program?

Our cohort internship program collaborates with a wide range of companies across various industries, including technology, healthcare, non-profit organizations, and environmental conservation. What’s included in the program fee?

The fee covers the internship placement, housing, airport pickup, pre-departure and in-country support, professional development workshops, networking events, and cultural activities. Flights, meals (except in homestays), daily transportation and personal expenses are not included.

What types of housing are available?

In most destinations, participants can choose from homestays with local families or shared apartments with other international interns and students.

How do I apply?

You can apply by submitting your application on our website. Once you’ve applied, you’ll have an advisor at World Endeavors who will help guide you through the rest of the process. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by their intended host company before a placement is offered.

Are scholarships and financial aid available?

World Endeavors offers some scholarships, and we can provide guidance on seeking out external scholarships as well. We recommend that you contact your home institution’s financial aid office for questions about funding your program using financial aid.

STEP 2
SCHEDULE A CALL WITH YOUR WE ADVISOR

After submitting your application, schedule a call with your advisor. You’ll need to submit your résumé and cover letter and complete a 20-30 minute video interview to discuss your experience and goals.

STEP 3
APPLICATION STATUS & ENROLLMENT

Following your interview, we’ll inform you of your application status. If you’re accepted, you’ll be asked to enroll by submitting a $500 deposit to secure your place in the program.

STEP 4
RESUME REFINEMENT & PREP

Join workshops with fellow cohort members to enhance your resume and sharpen your interview skills while we work on finding the best internship placement for you based on your field of study, skills, and professional interests.

STEP 5
HOST COMPANY INTERVIEW & OFFER

Once a potential host company expresses interest, we’ll arrange an interview with them. If they offer you a position, you’ll receive an internship agreement to review and sign, finalizing your placement.

STEP 6
PREPARE FOR DEPARTURE

In the weeks before your start date, you’ll get pre-departure guidance on travel, housing, visas, and cultural preparation, along with your program details and housing confirmation. You’ll meet your cohort again before arriving in-country.
