About the University of Western Sydney

The University of Western Sydney offers students a world-class education, a truly international student body, and a thriving social scene in a bustling metropolitan city. It’s been ranked in the top 25 Australian universities by the Melbourne Institute, and as one of the top 600 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education magazine. Students at the University of Western Sydney hail from all over the world, making for one of the most diverse educational settings in Australia. When not in class, students can make use of the many sports facilities on campus, visit cultural centers to see performing arts, go for a walk in the many parks, lie on the beach, or grab a bite to eat with friends at the hundreds of restaurants in the area. In addition to their classroom experience, students will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of campus activities and clubs.

UWS has six campuses distributed throughout Sydney, and each one offers different subjects:

Bankstown
Blacktown/Nirimba
Campbelltown
Hawkesbury
Parramatta
Penrith

Each World Endeavors student is placed at the campus that offers his or her area of study.

Why UWS?

Students choose the University of Western Sydney for a high-quality academic experience and an immersion in Australian culture. The diverse student body, cosmopolitan setting, and wide range of classes, all offered in English, make UWS a great fit for students who take their studies seriously and also want a chance to travel through Australia and beyond. For the most successful study-abroad experience, students should be open-minded and excited about experiencing a new culture and lifestyle.

Perspectives

Between the large cities, the small communities, the beaches, the nature, the activities, and its welcoming locals, Australia has something for everyone. It’s no wonder Sydney is such a popular destination!
